- Finally made it to Petersburg!

- Happy Independence Day!
Petersburg has quite a festival on the Fourth. But
the best part of the day were meeting our dear friends!
- Saturday, July 5
- The adventure begins! We
boarded the Alaska Adventurer and headed off on our
whale quest. Saw our first iceberg and dropped
crab and shrimp pots.
- Sunday, July 6
- On the water and found very active pods
of humpbacks today.
- Monday, July 7
- Bears and humpbacks and hairballs -
oh, my!
- Tuesday, July 8
- Down Endicott Arm to Dawes glacier.
An amazing trip down the fjord to see figures in the
icebergs and faces in the glacier!
- Wednesday, July 9
- On the trip back from Endicott Are
we encountered orcas - and the sun!
- Thursday, July 10
- Off the boat today to work from the skiff
and visit the Five Fingers Lighthouse. Includes video
clips of bubble/lunge feeding.
- Friday, July 11
- Humpbacks bubble/lunge feeding for krill.
- Saturday, July 12
- Our days on the Alaska Adventurer come to
a close. Back on land, we spend a last day with our
friends.
- Sunday, July 13
- We head to Juneau for a new experience -
a zipline trip down Mt. Roberts. Includes links to
video clips of flying over the treetops.
